What it is
A personalized Japanese language-learning app built around structured lessons and active recall. It turns textbook material into interactive practice, with spaced-repetition review and drills targeted at the specific things a learner keeps getting wrong.
How it works
Lessons are organised by topic, each drawing vocabulary and grammar from the source textbook into batches of exercises – cloze and multiple-choice, sentence ordering, listening, and spoken shadowing and read-aloud – with approved audio attached to each item. AI assists in generating the practice and in tutoring, while a spaced-repetition scheduler times reviews for retention and the system tracks where a learner struggles.
Status
In development, built out topic by topic, with an admin interface for curating lessons and audio. A command-line foundation is in place; a web version with fuller audio – pronunciation playback and spoken practice – is the planned direction.
